Access for ALL Children
At Forest Floor we believe that children grow best outside, and our students are the proof. We’ve been taking children on unforgettable adventures into the Appalachian wilds for over 12 years. In that time we’ve grown from a humble two-person team with a handful of young explorers one day a week to a now thriving ecosystem of programs running 6 days a week and serving over 500 individual kids a year.
In all this time, Forest Floor has remained committed to providing our powerful nature connection mentoring experiences for ALL children, regardless of their families financial means. This is why during 2023, even though we received less than $1k in donations towards our scholarship fund, we still awarded over $15,000 in scholarships for families in need.
