•Otherside Forest Adventures at Otherside Farm

Join us at our new West Buncombe location at Otherside Farm in the Leicester/Sandy Mush area.

Parents can drop-off/pick-up directly at Otherside Farm or take advantage of our new convenient in-town drop-off/pick-up location on the corner of New Leicester Hwy & Newfound Rd – only 7 minutes from West Asheville.

Turn away from your screens, and walk out into the forest to experience the magic of the Fall with our experienced nature connection mentors. With the heat of the summer slowly turning to the eventual cold of winter, the Fall is a wonderful time to bathe in the colors of the turning leaves and soak up the sun before the days shorten.

Our core curriculum has been carefully crafted since 2011 to provide a progressive learning journey and comprehensive foundation in deeply relating to the natural world. Through games, stories and exploration children learn:

Outdoor Safety and Awareness • Animal Tracking • Edible and Medicinal Wild Plants • Wilderness Survival Skills • Bird Language • Ancient Crafts • Ecology • Community • Self-Discovery, and much more
